Cowhide Butterfly Chair

A cowhide butterfly chair based on the 1938 design of Antonio Bonet, Juan Kurchan and Jorge Ferrari Hardoy of Argentinian design firm Grupo Austral. This chair features a pieced design with rounded corners and curving sides on a rectangular stretched hide seat deck. The piece is edged in a hide whip stitching and includes an openwork metal frame with bent hairpin style legs.
