Chippendale Style Mahogany Highboy
A Chippendale style, mahogany highboy, having a scroll carved pediment with pierced-carved foliate decoration and three finials, above a blind fretwork frieze and three small drawers, over two half-width drawers, above three full-width drawers, each having dovetailed joints and pierced brass pulls. The lower case features a waist molding and two half-width drawers, above a carved center drawer and two flanking drawers, over a carved apron and four cabriole legs on claw-and-ball feet. The piece was likely made in the Philippines, circa 1980-90.
