An antique hardcover copy of A Knight of the Cumberland by John Fox, Jr, with illustrations by F.C. Yohn. Fox (December 16, 1862 – July 8, 1919) was an American journalist, novelist, and short story writer from Kentucky. Although born near Paris, Kentucky, much of Fox’s work focused on the Appalachian mountain communities. This book was published in 1906 by Charles Scribner’s Sons; it is bound in red cloth-covered boards and features gilt lettering and illustrations to the front cover.
