Inscribed to the lower right with the title, signature and date of completion, ‘11-14-91 6:01 PM’ as his 2455th piece of art. To the verso is an inscription as well. Presented in a painted wood frame.

Grandson of the legendary folk artist, Howard Finster, Michael was born in Georgia in 1969 and dropped out of high school to help paint with his grandfather. Michael would help paint and cut plywood for Howard. His work features similar imagery of religious and natural subject matters, but also often includes fantastical depictions of aliens, dinosaurs and mythical creatures. Like Howard, he numbers his works and has completed over 4,000 pieces.
