Hand Carved Sepik River Sculpture
A hand carved Sepik River figural sculpture made in Papua New Guinea. This sculpture is a depiction of a hornbill resting on two ancestral faces. The figure and faces feature heavily carved details and are accented with cowrie shells and dyed orange twine. The sculpture is surfaced in a natural wooden and black patinated finish.
