German Porcelain Madonna and Child Plaque in an Ornate Frame
A 19th century oval porcelain plaque after Raphel’s (1483-1520, Italy) Madonna Della Seggiola, decorated in polychrome enamel. The oval plaque is presented in an ornate scrolled foliate gilt brass table top frame. Both the mother and child are illustrated with serene features, the mother wears a green fringed shawl.
