Maurice Delannoy "Folie de Printemps" Bronze Sculpture
A bronze sculpture by Maurice Delannoy (French, 1885 – 1972) titled Folie de Printemps (Madness of Spring). The Art Nouveau bronze depicts a female nude with a joyful expression dancing with fistfuls of flowers, her left leg extended straight in front and her left arm extended straight back. The work is titled to the front of the base and marked in mold ‘Made in France’ and signed in mold ‘Delannoy.’ Mounted on a marble base.
