A watercolor and wax pencil on paper titled Triagulation 2 by contemporary artist Ricardo Morin (Venezuela / New York; b. 1954), circa 2006. The piece depicts an abstract scene with blurred splotches of blues, deep violets, with intermittent bursts of red and turquoise, applied within intertwined forms. Comprised by overlapped black geometrical outlines asymmetrically situated throughout the composition, creating a contrasting balance between organic and trigonometrical lines. The work is graphite signed and dated by the artist to the lower right corner. This work is unframed, awaiting presentation of choice.

Morin immigrated to the United States from Venezuela in 1972. Based in New York and New Jersey, Morin received his B.F.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his M.F.A. at Yale University. His work has been exhibited at multiple institutions including the Bronx Museum of the Arts; the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, New York; the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts in Brooklyn, New York; and many others.
