A circa 1912 to 1920 Arts and Crafts rocking chair by L. & J.G. Stickley. The quartersawn oak frame features a straight crest above a pierced back with vertical slats. The flat, open arms continue to corbel supports over a removable, spring seat. The seat is upholstered in diamond- and rose-patterned fabric and the back seat rail retains a partial decal marked ‘The Work Of / L. & J.G. Stickley’.
