This press pin was made for the 1927 MLB World Series game between the New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Yankees won the series with the help of their ‘Murderers Row’, which included such stars as Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. This American League team was the first to win the Series against a National League team, and are still considered by many as the greatest team in baseball.
