Born in Sioux City, Iowa and of Lakota Sioux descent, Frank Howell’s art depicts the intersection of the physical and spiritual worlds. In the late 1960s, Howell moved to Colorado, then Taos, and Santa Fe, opening art galleries in both Colorado and Santa Fe.
