Embroidered jacket patches include XXIV Corps, 40th Infantry Division, Staff Sergeant Rank, Overseas Service Bars (24 months), Meritorious Unit Citation (MUC), Ruptured Duck. Jacket retains a China Incident Medal with ribbon bar and Asiatic–Pacific Campaign Medal with ribbon bar (four campaign stars).
