- examined under UV light; artwork is slightly loose within frame and tends to shift; flaked and peeled loss to paint and loose threads to canvas board at the lower left corner; craquelure, scratches, scuffs, and accretions scattered to frame; cracks, chips, and flaked loss to gold-toned gesso accents and veneer of frame, most heavily at the upper left corner; splits between the corners of frame bars; abrasions, scratches, scuffs, discoloration, and accretions to frame.
