Born in the early 1970s, Lanre Ayuba studied painting under the tutelage of Rufus Ogundele (1946-1996), a prominent figure in the Oshogbo School. Ayuba is known for his abstract acrylic paintings depicting figures composed of geometric forms and bright expressive colors. His works are exhibited in Nigeria and abroad.
