- overall with various scratches, marks, nicks/chips, cracks/splits, and abrasions consistent with age and use; scattered finish wear/losses and stains; some former worming; back edge of lid has been built up and hinges are associated, underside of lid is missing latch and fitted with a later support chain; other repairs/restorations (most notably to case/drawer secondaries and feet).
