Well-trained artist, Ronald Newman, was best known for his large-scale and multipanel Impressionistic paintings. Born in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, Newman received his art training from many sources, including the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, the Columbus College of Art and Design, Cranbrook Academy of Art. Kansas Art Institute and finally the Instituto Allende in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. He was the owner and director of the Artists’ Workshop in Columbus, Ohio, offering painting workshops, exhibition space, and art supplies.
