- distortion with variations in width and depth; rug has been altered, apparently trimmed in length and with end borders patched using original cut sides; visible stitching from repair seams at all corners and along edge of center field to both ends; spot staining, areas of discoloration, and faded dye; heavy traffic wear to pile with several areas of exposed foundation and visible knot collars; broken and lost yarn in selvedge binding, with sections of exposed selvedge; pulled and broken yarn to edges and fringe; loose surface debris; structure creased and buckled from folded storage.
