Spanish Colonial (Bolivia) 8 Reales Cob Coin Recovered From Atocha Shipwreck. This lot contains one 8 Reales silver ‘Piece of Eight’ cob coin (ca. 1616-17, Potosi Mint) recovered from the Nuestra Señora de Atocha wreck. The Coin features the Hapsburg shield on the obverse and the Greek Cross on the reverse. It is accompanied by original Mel Fisher certificate of authenticity issued by Treasure Salvors, Inc and appraisal certificate from exhibition and sale dated 1997. Coin has been given a Grade One (1) to the certificate.
