Tim Deibler was born and raised in Oklahoma, and knew he wanted to paint landscapes after seeing the 1956 movie The Mountain as a young boy. He attended the Art Institute of Colorado, and then worked as a commercial artist until he left in 1992 to pursue fine art, eventually moving the the mountains of Colorado in 1999. In his single minded pursuit, he studied with many of the most notable contemporary landscape artists, including Scott Christensen, Doug Dawson, Kim English and Quang Ho among many others. He has become a popular workshop teacher himself, and published a book, Capturing the Seasons in Oils, with North Light Books. Deibler’s work resides in numerous private and corporate collections, including former President Bill Clinton.
