Thomas Willison was born in Brent, Kentucky and received his artistic training in Cincinnati, Ohio. He attended the Cincinnati School of Art during the time when local artist Frank Duveneck (1848-1919) taught painting. Willison is best known for this Ohio landscapes and river valley scenes.
