Two copper Dinar coins of Toramana II, Kidarites of Kashmir, ca. 570 A.D. Obverse: Kushan-style King standing facing, sacrificing at altar at left, Brahmi legend above left: sri toramana. Reverse: Ardochsho (Lakshmi) seated facing on lion in lalitasana (with right leg folded under and left leg hanging down), holding diadem in right hand and long-stemmed lotus in left hand, Brahmi legend at right: jaya. Metal Content: copper. Diameters: approx. 21 mm. Weights: 6.9-7.1 grams. Coins are lightly circulated and well-struck.
